Open to all LA County High School students!

Celebrate National Poetry Month by supporting 30 talented high school students who each have 5 minutes to perform in front of Los Angeles Poetry Society's professional jurors. All topics appropriate for high school audiences are welcome without glamorizing sex, drugs, and alcohol. Since proceeds benefit Foothill Unity Center, content bringing awareness to hunger, poverty, and homelessness are encouraged but not necessary. Prizewinners win Beats Solo wireless headphones. Underwritten by Katy Hsieh Foundation.
